Schneider Family Book Award | Lodi Public Library

The Schneider Family Book Award is awarded by the American Library Association to an author or illustrator of a book that has excellent portrayal of disability experience in children's literature. The award has been given since 2004 and was founded by Dr. Katherine Schneider, the first blind student to graduate from the Kalamazoo Public School System.
