Coretta Scott King Award

A selection of Coretta Scott King Award winning books. The Coretta Scott King Award is awarded to outstanding African American authors and illustrators of children's and young adult books. It was started in 1970 by the American Library Association (ALA) and is named in honor of Coretta Scott King, wife of Martin Luther King, Jr.
